Diggin’ Sonoton – Delfonic

Berlin DJ legend Delfonic has taken on Sonoton Music’s 60-year archive.

Over the years, Sonoton Music has naturally amassed an extensive catalogue. It’s therefore no surprise that the repertoire has attracted the attention of DJs and producers. The idea behind the Diggin’ series is to unearth musical treasures and breathe new life into them. In 2020, DJ Friction (Freundeskreis) and Dexter released the first edition of Diggin’ Sonoton.

Now it’s the turn of DJ veteran Delfonic. Delfonic has discovered Sonoton Music classics and given them a new twist. His keen musical intuition and love of disco, house and funk enable him to transform tracks by Jean Claude Madonne, Claude Larson, John Charles Fiddy and Sammy Burdson, Mark Governor and Carmen Latretta Lundy, John Epping, and Klaus Weiss into danceable club bangers.
