About the artist:

Jean-Marc is a Juilliard School trained composer, sound designer, and pianist based in Manhattan, NY. Native to New York City, contemporary classical composer Jean-Marc Yee grew up exposed to the wealth of musical influences that the city has to offer. He was drawn to the piano at an early age, mastered the guitar, and soon began doing sound design on various films. He enhanced his MA in Film and Television Composition by studying at The Juilliard School. The music that Jean-Marc writes is often compared to Nico Muhly, Max Richter, and Yann Tiersen.
