Deekapz
Hailing from the state of São Paulo, production duo Deekapz is known for infusing global bass music with the tropical melodies and Brazilian rhythms of their childhood. After a chance b2b set in 2014, the two young producers, Paulo and Matheus, joined forces for a slew of joint releases. Their fresh sound, characterized by progressive vibes and clean melodies, inspired by traditional references, caught the ear of international audiences, culminating in a 2017 Soulection White Label release (SWL019). Since then, they have only been exposed to a wider realm of opportunities, including placements with some of the world’s best rising talent and a recent European tour. As Deekapz continues the dream of living through sound, stay tuned for more inspired production and more engaging collaborations on a global scale.
ANABYA
Poet, singer, MC and actor born in Natal-RN. ANABYA grew up in Macapá-AP and Belém-PA but it was in Santos in the Baixada Santista that the acting begun in the meantime as the hip hop culture got more intertwined in the artist’s life. The poet understands its art as a code of language that keeps and rescues its indigenous ancestrality. In 2020, launched “Novas Frequências” and in the same year the second EP came out “Luz”. More recently in 2024 the artist’s first album “Andarilha do Tempo” came out.
alvin.nobeat
Originally a classical piano musician coming from a family of musicians, alvin.nobeat became an influential music producer in the hip hop scene of São Paulo. Known for his versatility and bringing different brazilian genres of music together he became an expert at this art. Recently he has also adventured in singing besides only producing.
Kaboom 23
Kaboom 23 is a poet, singer and musician from the notorious music-filled neighbourhood of São Paulo called Bixiga. A place known for its samba and nightlife that was influential to the artist’s formation. Music grew in the family, what he learned was taught by his father that in turn learned from his grandfather. The artist was also a show producer in Bixiga for a number of years, which helped to make connections and solid friendships in the scene that made it possible for this album to come about. Kaboom 23 produced this album and sings in one of the songs. He has, besides a number of features in songs ranging from BregaFunk to Bossa Nova, 6 singles already out and is planning to put out his first album very soon.
P.L.K
Born in June the 22nd of 1998 in the north zone of São Paulo, P.L.K moved to the east side of the city where he lives to this day. A member of the notorious underground hip hop collective TracksuitmafiaBrasil, created by Fleezus in 2017 he raps, writes books and directs movies. We’ll meet again soon.
Andréa Bak
Born in the centre of Rio De Janeiro Andréa Bak is a rising carioca star with multiple talents. She graduated in Chemistry and has infinite knowledge in other areas. She began as a slam poet in the Slam Das Minas RJ and was a part of the hip hop trio Nefetaris Vandal. As she got older she developed one of her main skills that also translates to her music talent: acting. Bak starred in “Vicky e a Musa” a brazilian series and also in the celebrated soap opera “No Rancho Fundo” as the inspiring and intriguing character Esperança. Both projects were produced by Globo, the largest media outlet in Brazil. Full of promise, this is just one of the many beautiful songs that have yet to come from her.
Mlk de Mel
Mlk de Mel is a transmasculine MC, cultural producer and educator and a multi-artist. He is part of the Rap&Funk duo PAMKA and one of the creators of the hip hop battle Batalha da Encruzilhada. Mlk de Mel has a strong belief that art is a valuable tool in education, social transformation and self-knowledge. Author of the singles “CLT”, “Slipknot”, “Eu não vou te iludir”, “Cabelim de Gel” and “Tô Legal” he has also been featured in “Orobobos” of the artist Maria Preta, the song “Jog4” by MC Xuxu and in “Na Ladeira da Vida” and “Na Boca do Caos” both from Mc Lili Black. His first album “Que Nem Brisa” is coming up very soon.
Rodrigo Tuchê
A renowned beatmaker and sound engineer for a number of great artists of the hip hop scene such as: Emicida, Rashid, Criolo, Haikaiss, Tássia Reis, Costa Gold, Coruja Bc1, Dalsin, Dukes, Karol de Souza, PaZSado, Gabi KillaBi and Riachão, Rodrigo Tuchê began his journey on the scene around 2005 as a MC in Diadema. He excelled in hip hop battles such as Santa Cruz and Rinha dos MCs and later released his album “Gaveta De Tempos”. Rodrigo became a beatmaker for himself at first, exclusively to have instrumentals of his own in 2006 but it developed in an unique talent that became hist trademark and opened doors to work with all the artists above.
