Since its first edition in 2006, the Reeperbahn Festival has become an integral part of the German and international music scene. Every year, it attracts music fans, industry professionals, and creative minds from all over the world to Hamburg. The Reeperbahn Festival has long established itself as one of the most important platforms for new talent and young artists.
Even though Sonoton has been no stranger to the festival, in 2025 we will take our 60th anniversary celebrations to Hamburg with a very special event.
On September 18th, Sonoton will take over Mojo Jazz Café with an exclusive showcase party. The event will feature a diverse line-up of our artists, who will provide unique sounds and unforgettable live moments.
If you’re at the Reeperbahn Festival, be sure to stop by and celebrate with us!

Get to know our acts:

Greg Foat | Live act
Greg Foat stands prominently as one of the foremost jazz pianists and composers in he United Kingdom. His musical repertoire seamlessly travers various genres, from soul-jazz fusions that resonate with emotive depth to cinematic compositions that evoke a haunting atmosphere.

Kat Koan | Live act
Kat Koan’s sound is cinematic, textured and drenched in detail, often described as the sonic equivalent of a moody short film. Her genre-defying approach ranges from electroclash to rock to pop, often within a single project, and she’s unapologetically resistant to being put in a box.

Paul Older | DJ set
Paul Older is an Italian DJ and remixer celebrated as a hero of vinyl digging and maestro or rare edits. With a genuine passion, Paul is renowned for crafting some of the most sought-after versions of rare jazz-funk and Italian disco.

Jon Tye | DJ set
Jon Tye has recorded under a wide range of names and been involved in many projects including Missing Chemicals, Funtopia, MLO, Hairy Butter, Twisted Science, Milky Globe, Brain Machine, Cherry Garcia, Pink Fluid and Seahawks.
We look forward to celebrating 60 years of Sonoton Music with great music, exciting encounters, and lots of energy.
See you there?
