A series pf cues created while improvising on positive, energetic themes. The basic ensemble is Acoustic Piano, Rhodes electric piano, Music Man Sting Ray electric bass, and a 1960 Fender Jazzmaster. Trap sets are a combination of Ludwig, Premier, with a Gretsch snare and a Yamaha set on "After the Rain." The album tries to deliver a sophisticated jazzy sound without going too esoteric for the non-jazz listener. It feels happy and energetic while looking positively into the future

A cool jazz groove on bass and drums with a whisper of acoustic piano set the energy at cruise. You can feel the wind in your hair as this cue drives you into the perfect evening where the sky is the limit and the stars sparkle. The drums push forward even though their uneven rhythm isn't recognizable. The electric guitar adds a rhythmic and melodic counterpoint to the subtle piano landscape. 104 bpm (Emaj)

The bass and drums are always moving. It's an upward motion; and it's an uplifting feeling. There is an awkward swing in a jazzy 4/4 because the groove always keeps you off balance as you try to capture something familiar. But there will always be an unexpected surprise at this party. Its an exhilarating hop, skip, and jump. 139 bpm (Bbmaj)

My musical version of a bouquet of flowers. Pretty and uplifting, the rhythm has an energy that is dying to take you somewhere. It immediately pushes you forward even though it has a halting phrasing. The guitar fills the gap OR the (no Guitar Mix) allows a pause filled softy with a Rhodes piano. This halting opening promises excitement with a little awesome mystery. @:28 the groove kicks in with an uplifting progression. The song is a busy overlay where each in the ensemble is trying to take your attention and show your ears a good time when flowers collide. 164 bpm (Gmaj)

The opening is soft and cool evoking a calm, beautiful, and sophisticated feeling of being alive and thankful for every moment. @:18 we start a lazy groove punctuated with changes that suggest satisfaction, warmth, and a confidence in the future. The melody moves upward towards inspiring, hope with a touch of nostalgia. It feels like a romantic walk through a glistening garden on a moonlit night with the city lights dancing over the fallen rain. 130 bpm (Fmaj)
