[SCORE: The Puppet Condition] [OFF-KILTER, QUIRK] Subtly troubling music for building things that just aren't quite right. Mellotron flutes, stabby piano + pizzicato strings score the well-intended construction of something that will never be as good as the original. In this story, it's when the love-struck living puppet tries to resurrect the other, and sort-of succeeds, creating a creepily endearing facsimile of her dead puppet lover. Good for hinting at the flaws beneath a perfect surface.
