I searched throughout the world
Tried Caribbean rum
Tequila down in Mexico
And sake with a plum

Drank Smirnoff once in Moscow
And Ouzo down in Greece
Had too much gin in London town
Still searching for that peace

The world is a great big place
There's spirit's everywhere
But bourbon from Kentucky
Is the answer to my prayer
