The sun is on my skin
My cheeks are getting pink
I feel warm again

My toes are sinking in
To words that I’m thinking
But never said

And it’s crazy how
You can lose yourself
When you’re with yourself
More than anyone else

I think I’ve found my way back
Back to me
I think I’ve found my way back
(Back, back, back)

I think I’ve found my way back
Back to me
I think I’ve found my way back
Didn’t know I’d lose myself so easy

Summer breeze has wrapped her arms
Safe around my heart
I feel whole again

All my thoughts
Are dot-to-dots
Making pictures that I forgot was me
Pretending to be happy

And it’s crazy how
You can lose yourself
When you’re with yourself
More than anyone else

Oh, I think I’ve found my way back
Back to me
I think I’ve found my way back
(Back, back, back)
I think I’ve found my way back
Back to me
I think I’ve found my way back
Didn’t know I’d lose myself so easy

I had a conversation with myself
Sat her down and listened
And I thought, my gosh, she needs some help
Better be nice for once
To myself

I think I’ve found my way back
Back to me
I think I’ve found my way back
(Back, back, back, back)
I think I’ve found my way back
Back to me
I think I’ve found my way back
Didn’t know I’d lose myself so easy
