(REQUEST: "Art Film drama") We've all seen them: overly-dramatic B&W films that are subtitled in Lithuanian and feature dialogue like "You must be the eggplant of misconception. I smell of envy and Nutella." Somebody-went-to-film-school soundtrack that features orchestral strings, solo violin, processed vocals, slide electric guitar, Mellotron flutes, banging orchestral percussion and nightmarish sound design. Starting atmospheric and weird, the piece adds more rhythmic elements (pulsing 60s flutes @:11, surreal violin arpeggios @:21 and metallic slams throughout) as it nears a climax @:29. Beginning @:34 the tension mounts as the piece climbs chromatically, leading to a Halloween feel with solo violin arpeggio @:45 and horrendous slam @:54.
