A collection of bright, sunny, summer Pop perfect for ads, shows and getting tipsy at the beach, pool, wherever.
  • VH010501 1:50
Light and fluffy brightness! This fun, Funk-tinged Pop-vocal-driven, dance-inspiring track has been known to cause joy, optimism and only a minor incidence of listener suicides. Happy synths, busy electric guitars, drum machines, handclaps and a female vocal that sings "hello sunshine" repeatedly, as those are the only lyrics. Sadly, she still manages to forget the words @:55 and tries to wing it. The middle section features a mostly vocal-free breakdown, with various loopable sessions that provide a positive movement-filled bed, returning to the main theme/mix @1:27. Great for nightlife during the day (because of the whole "sunshine" thing), workouts, celebrations, vacations/travelogs and when someone is so happy you just want to punch them in their smug little overly-satisfied faces.
  • VH010502 1:24
Let's get this party started! But unlike the failed, oxymoronic "American Vegetarian Party (1947)," this 70s propulsive Funk remix suggests we get moving, get motivated, celebrate and eat red meat. Acoustic drums, electric bass, acoustic guitar, cowbell, clavinet, organ, handclaps, vocal grunts and a hook-providing brass section give the cut a bright, happy and propulsive feel that makes it great for image spots, nightlife, drunken revelry, sports bravado and going full Earth Wind and Fire without all those pesky sequins. A break-filled center section starting @:28 provides a variety of smaller, loopable driving beds and breaks, including a vocal "3, 2, 1 and..." countdown @:45 and "let's get funky" @1:02. A great party track that will attract attention without throwing up on your carpet.
  • VH010503 2:28
Catchy propulsive Pop-Punk/midtempo electric guitar-driven 90s fun Pop that brings to mind summer vacations, road trips, sports, beaches, fraternity bros with backward baseball caps, people who "whooooo" a lot and embracing our innate drive to do stupid things, like watching a solar eclipse with the naked eye or playing Catch The Hammer. A wall of impossibly big guitars, electric bass and acoustic drums explodes into a driving, determined and fun-loving party of distortion and stunted masculinity until a break @:30 allows the cut a moment of half-time self-reflection that eventually returns to the energetic chorus @1:43 but this time adds melodic guitar feedback and a more determined sense of self-destructiveness. Oh look, it's now challenging other tracks on the album to a fight.
  • VH010504 1:24
Super duper Funk party time! This trippy, attitudinal and irreverent sonic non-sequitur. Featuring a jarring, stop/start quality that makes it perfect for suggesting quirkiness, moderate psychosis and musical chairs if it were played to the death, this cut is built around stabs of 60s/70s Rock and playful Lounge samples, adding drum machines, handclaps and a gurgling synth bass that sounds like someone swallowed a personal massager. Excitement-provoking shouts of Gospel-like exuberance are littered throughout as well as a male vocal sample of "now presenting..." suggesting this cut would be good for getting people motivated, generating excitement, image spots, sports, nightlife and any surprise.
  • VH010505 1:52
Important but morphine-laden positivity/celebration that musically simulates being really happy while also sedated to the point of drooling and reduced to the verb/noun agreement of Cookie Monster. This slow but uplifting Emo/Rock cut starts with an expectant bed of lilting, delayed electric guitars, low synths, atmospheric piano and handclaps and eventually explodes @:08 with blasts of reverbed synths/guitar, simple drums and a male vocal (later joined by a female vocal) that sings about it being "a brand new day for us." @:29 it returns to the dream-like, shimmering bed of guitars/synths with snippets of reversed, trippy lyrics and a feeling that the cut will return to the anthemic chorus, which it does @1:05 with vocals appearing shortly after. Good for being optimistic even after you've lost gallons of blood, important breakthroughs, hopeful world events and devouring cookies, but forgetting how to swallow them.
  • VH010506 1:06
Caribbean-tinged, fun/sexy EDM remix that feels like the crossroads of Reggae, Dancehall and the Twilight Zone theme, probably because I'm writing this under the influence of a whopping dose of THC. Toy-like electric piano, drum machines, percolating panpipe-esque synths, a wandering flute-like lead and processed male/female vocals that warn us "Imma take my time" in a variety of speeds, bringing to mind sensual seductions, vacations, travelogs, sidewalk sloths and breezy nightlife. A mellow break @:30 suggests the cut actually is taking its time, just before the movement and speed pick up @:39, suggesting Imma take less time.
  • VH010507 1:50
Innocent, quirky and cartoonish way of saying "farewell" to someone or, for those of you who speak sarcasm: "I've had a great evening, but tonight wasn't it." Archival-sounding uptempo 1930s Swing/Jazz remix that takes a quirky bunch of brass, clarinet, upright bass, acoustic guitars and saccharine-sweet female vocals singing "So long, goodbye," while synth bass, synth stabs, drum machines and Funk electric guitar (@:53) amplify the ridiculousness. A more background-y section @:31 eases up a bit on the hijinks, while the singers provide rhythmic vocalese and obscene hand gestures, which thankfully don't show up on sound recordings. A return to the main theme @1:28 builds to a big finish, making this cut good for vacations, obnoxious sendoffs, sports bravado/overconfidence and animated black and white films of spoons dancing while setting fire to sheep.
  • VH010508 1:47
Fun, bright and positive 70s-meets-modern DiscoPop that suggests a nightclub-y atmosphere, parties, celebrations or that a Teletubby finally snapped, joyfully killing everything around it. Starting with a swirling, filtered swarm of vocals, electric bass and sampled handclaps, the cut explodes @:11 into a driving, Funk-tinged propulsive escapade featuring "la-la"ing vocals, acoustic drums and Nile Rodgers-esque electric guitars that suggest entertainment spots and lavish nightlife. After a pulsing bed starting @:27 starring waves of remixed "la-la" vocals, the cut builds back to a full reprise of the main theme @1:24, this time adding more synths, glockenspiel and a higher Teletubby-induced body count.
  • VH010509 1:42
Laid-back, slow, sultry, sexy and synthetic vocally-driven, 70s-influenced R&B jam that feels like a relaxing afternoon by the pool unless you've accidentally used a glue stick instead of lip balm and now are ChapStuck. Samples of Lounge music-ish saxophones and vibes/kalimba create an old-school organic, mellow feel as drum machines, strummed acoustic guitar, electric guitar, handclaps, "ohh"ing female background vocals and Trap-like hi-hats create a cozy bed for spare, vocoded male vocals with lyrics that wax philosophic on the pleasures of summer and the convenience of tubal ligations. A more vocal-forward mix @:33 answers any questions you might have about the vernal equinox. Great for chill vacations, classy nightlife, any drink with a mini umbrella or when you know there's sex in your future.
  • VH010510 1:37
Attitudinal Latin bullfight music if the bull was also driving a Land Rover with mounted machine guns. Frenetic, propulsive and action-filled Flamenco-like remix that sounds like a fast, chaotic run through a Spanish city, fueled by alcohol, sports drinks and frustrated bulls as they discover their SUV's catalytic converters have been stolen. Looped bursts of overdriven drums, handclaps and synthetic percussives provide sporadic blasts of energy and grinding synth bass, Spanish classical nylon guitar and stabs of noisy synths that all explode @:11. An amplified vocal sample of "que me lo des" appears throughout, which hopefully means "give it to me," as it sounds like "okay we're closing,"or "here we go, then" in English. All of them work. Filled with multiple breaks and pauses, this cut works for extreme sports, competition, nightlife, inciting riots, giving anything a party atmosphere and getting people excited, unless you're a bull and have to deal with the factory-supplied sound system and poor driveshaft reliability.
  • VH010511 1:26
Need to get people excited and amped up but have to work within the confines of a two word vocabulary? Glitzy, 70s-influenced Disco/R&B-esque Vegas-like show music that accentuates the glamorous feel of fashion, parties or big events with a Funk-infused electric bass, electric guitar, brass section and acoustic drums while a group women's vocal sings "hot fire" repeatedly, suggesting excitement, vast amounts of cocaine, a late night show theme or an actual life-threatening fire. A bass breakdown @:32 gives the cut a more sophisticated, metropolitan feel as it creates an expectant build back to the celebratory main mix, arriving @1:11. Warning: it's probably illegal to play this track in a crowded movie theater.
  • VH010512 1:08
The average American is more than $92k in debt (due almost entirely to hotel minibars), but not this financially independent cut! This quirky Synth Pop-meets-Hip Hop-meets-HyperPop track uses hiccup-y synths and Trap-inspired drum machines to provide a percolating, futuristic-sounding feel that's perfect for technology and summer shopping, mostly due to a chipmunk-esque vocal lording its fiscal responsibility over us. The cut starts with a synth pad, then adds the ever-present vocal "I bought it on my own" that kicks into gear @:11 with distorted synth bass, ticking hi-hats and various rhythmic but hard-of-hearing vocal interjections like "what?" and "yeah." A reflective, atmospheric break @:31 features a relaxing, spa-like, burbling water-filled oasis with distantly reverbed vocal that returns to the fun, in-your-face, repetitive main mix @:41. Good for retail therapy, advertising, fashion and hemorrhoid creams, as the vocal could be misheard as "there's a burnin' in my hole." Trust me: you'll never not hear that now.
  • VH010513 1:46
(Translated: "The baby.") Latin-tinged, fun and spicy Reggaeton/Rumba Flamenco that suggests failed romantic overtures or anything awkward, like the geography of Chile, which is a country 2,700 miles long but only 27 feet wide, creating narrow futbol stadiums with the goals 2 miles apart. This midtempo, rhythmically-driven track features a hodgepodge of vocoded female/male vocal snippets, strummed acoustic nylon guitar, synth bass, shakers/percussion, drum machines, pipe organ and a recurring female vocal hook (a variety of women saying "baby") that ties everything together like a pair of furry handcuffs. A remix-like break starting @:30 feels like a tropical fever dream, with episodic bursts of melody and rhythm, finally returning to the guitar-driven main mix @1:03. Good for parties, nightlife, travelogs and vacation hijinks.
  • VH010514 1:53
This anthemic, glossy, vocal-driven midtempo SynthPop/EDM/Club track might SOUND like it's positive or possibly suggesting bladder incontinence, but one can't help but wonder if psychologically it's a call for help before it starts killing again. Delayed beds of synths, drum machines, handclaps, Funk-tinged electric guitars and brass-like synths provide a moderately propulsive and active bed for a woman's vocal that features the lyrics "you've got me feeling like I can't let go/You've got me feeling like I'm losing control." A subdued bed of synths and delayed guitars @:30 lets the listener catch their breath before the main theme returns @1:04, adding processed rhythmic vocals. Good for vacations, travel, parties, nightlife or diagnosing Dupuytren's Contracture or prostate dysfunction.
  • VH010515 1:33
If "mellow" were personified and then tranqued. Easygoing, light, smooth and breezy EuroPop that sounds like we're aboard a yacht, sipping champagne and wearing all-white outfits which made the all-you-can-eat spaghetti and bottomless red wine lunch a little stressful. Moderately Funk-tinged electric guitar, acoustic drum loops, shaker, electric bass and snippets of brass samples create a relaxing but positive vibe that escalates into super-positive @:17 as tambourines and sampled rhythmic woman's vocals create a bopping, head nodding, yet calming groove perfect for sophisticated nightlife, lifestyle pieces, upscale vacations/getaways and anytime the phrase "living the good life" is used. A brief interlude of low-key brass, synths, handclaps and a remarkably indecisive organ player provides a loopable bed for the middle section (starting @:30), returning to a section @:54 that sounds a lot like the cut's opening section because it is, just cut and pasted.
  • VH010516 1:25
"Mala Vida" means "lowlife" in Spanish. However, according to Google translate it also means "poor eyesight" in Czech. Spicy, slinky and mischievous-sounding Latin-tinged Reggaeton track that creates a party atmosphere that likely involves nudity and alcohol, but probably not in that order. Saxophones and gritty synths create a halting melodic hook and Salsa-like feel while synth bass, percolating delayed synths, drum machines and handclaps create a festive atmosphere. Young-sounding group vocal "heys" (starting @:19) create call/answer accents throughout, giving the cut a fun, breezy feel, especially when the air horns start @1:00 and just don't stop, putting the "anger" in "banger." Good for nightlife, parties, poor eyesight, low-key celebrations and satisfying the pro-air horn lobby.
  • VH010517 1:23
Sleazy danger meets fun. Nightlife EDM track that's one-half gritty, dark-sounding synths and another half that's an impossibly perky brass section suggesting that "you can do it!" regardless of whether you're trying to drunkenly seduce a bar trivia machine ("baby, you ask a lot of questions!") or shoplifting a rabid badger from the zoo. Starts with a distorted, sliding low synth, finger snaps and four-on-the-floor electronic kick drum that suggest toughness and grit until @:10 a cartoon-like Funk horn section and propulsive House drum machine beat happily suggest industrious energy, positive vibes and cartoonish exuberance. A smaller club-ready breakdown @:32 leads back to the brass-driven mix @:58. Great for lifestyles, fashion, urban adventures, clumsy spies/espionage and the wacky hijinks of living with a rabid badger.
  • VH010518 1:34
This sultry and seductive Latin/Reggaeton-tinged track features a playfully whispering vocal of "(la la la la la) dame dame" which is Spanish for "gimme gimme." Unless you hear it as "damedame" which is Japanese for "no good." (Note to our Asian clients: this still works.) Propelled by slinky muted electric guitar, synths, nylon acoustic guitar and drum machines, this mid-tempo track practically screams sex, extravagant nightlife, advertising expensive products, fashion and a reminder that some people need to use the word "please" every so often, as this cut is a bit too demanding and has unreasonable expectations. A throbbing, kick-driven middle section @:29 provides a quieter, but still suggestive, bed of sexual innuendo. And for all of our Bangla-speaking clients, you might want to skip this track, as we've just discovered that "lala" means "saliva."
  • VH010519 1:57
Cool, soft-spoken positivity. Giving a video tour of a house with an updated, modern kitchen and multiple light-filled rooms? This upbeat Pop-infused Light Rock track with moments of Hip Hop/R&B gives any virtual home tour a sense of positivity and comfort. The cut starts with a fun, lighthearted synth and electric bass groove that highlight the neat exterior, while @:12 electric guitars, propulsive drum machines and atmospheric, Bluesy/Soulful vocals make the room filled with hanging chains and restraints seem more cheery! The half-time Blues-tinged Hip Hop-like breakdown @:31 adds a bit of mystery to the basement dungeon, making all the bloodstains seem almost sexy and sensual! The faster, more uplifting mood returns @:58 and the floaty vocals and Funk-tinged electric guitar cement (haha) your claims that the backyard patio can seat more than 20 people, while still concealing the more than 53 bodies buried beneath it! Also good for vacations, road trips, corporate optimism, expensive lifestyles and nightlife.
